The fresh Pandan (Rampe) leaves will enhance your cooking with a unique taste and fragrance that will make your taste buds crave more. Pandan leaves are commonly added to rice and stews in India and Sri Lanka. The most common way to use pandan leaves is to add them to the rice before cooking. Take a few cut leaves or two, tie them into a knot, and drop them into the pot of rice. During cooking, the rice will absorb the aroma and flavor of the pandan leaves. Once the rice is cooked, discard the pandan leaves before serving.

When you receive a plant, it’s important to handle it delicately to avoid disturbing the soil. Carefully remove it from the packaging and keep it in a bowl indoors. Spray water on the roots until they are slightly damp and then let it rest in a cool area. The next morning, plant it in the moist soil. Make sure to keep the plant in a very shady and moist spot outside, and give it a light mist of water every day until it’s settled.
